Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Poorvika Foods, we are committed to providing high-quality food products to our customers. To ensure a smooth shopping experience, we have outlined the terms and conditions for order cancellation, returns, and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Order Cancellation

1.1 Domestic Orders (India)

  • Cancellation Period: You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it or before the order is dispatched from our warehouse, whichever comes first.
  • How to Cancel: To cancel your order, please contact our customer support team at care@poorvikfoods.in or call us at +(91) 8072824638. Provide your order number and reason for cancellation, and we will process your request.
  • Post-Dispatch Cancellation: Once your order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. You may return the product once it is delivered (subject to our return policy).

1.2 International Orders

  • Cancellation Period: For international orders, cancellations are allowed within 48 hours of placing the order or before the order is dispatched for shipping.
  • Post-Dispatch: Orders dispatched for international shipping cannot be canceled. Please ensure cancellations are made within the time frame to avoid additional shipping charges.

2. Return Policy

We strive to deliver products that meet your expectations. However, if you receive a product that doesn’t meet your standards, our return policy provides clear guidelines.

2.1 Conditions for Return

  • Eligible Products: Only items that are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging are eligible for return. The product should be in a resalable condition.
  • Non-Eligible Products: Due to the nature of food products, we do not accept returns on perishable items, including fresh produce, dairy products, or other consumable goods. However, if such items are damaged or defective, you may qualify for a replacement or refund (see below).
  • Return Period: You must raise a return request within 48 hours of receiving the product. Please include clear images of the damaged or defective product when submitting your return request.

2.2 How to Request a Return

  • To request a return, email us at care@poorvikfoods.in with your order number and images of the product.
  • Once the return request is approved, we will arrange for a return pickup.
  • All returns are subject to inspection before being approved for a refund or replacement.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund for Canceled Orders

  • Domestic Orders: If you cancel your order within the allowed time frame, we will process a full refund to your original payment method.
  • International Orders: Cancellations of international orders will be refunded within 7-10 business days, excluding any shipping costs that may have been incurred before cancellation.

3.2 Refund for Returned Items

  • If your return is approved after inspection, we will process a refund within 10 business days.
  • The refund will be issued to the same payment method used at the time of purchase. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
  • Partial Refunds: If the product shows signs of use or tampering, only a partial refund or no refund will be issued based on the condition of the product.

3.3 Non-Refundable Items

  • Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes for international orders are non-refundable.
  • Products marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable” on the product page are not eligible for refunds.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective:

  • Contact Us: Please reach out to us within 48 hours of receiving the product with clear images.
  • Replacement or Refund: We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund if the product is found to be defective or damaged upon delivery.

5. International Orders and Shipping Charges

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping charges for international orders are non-refundable.
  • Duties and Taxes: Any customs duties and taxes incurred during international shipping are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
